Brass oxidise on exposure to the atmosphere. In time, your brass products may darken and begin to acquire a patina. Your product needs daily care to prevent oxidation. It should be washed with a soft cloth and a metal cleaning agent like Pitambari, lime & salt, or vinegar & salt or tamarind. Wipe dry immediately or else water residues will leave stains. Some waters cause dark spots on copper/brass. To remove, apply tamarind or vinegar or lime concentrate and leave for 15 minutes. Wash off with clean water.

Cute but not functional
Most of us look for agarbati stand that can hold the ashes. Based on the description I ordered this assuming it would be functional. 1. The hole that holds the stick is quite big, would be to hold multiple sticks, but if you put just one stick it stays wobbly 2. The Ashes don’t fall into the tray because the size of the tray is quite small and the stick does not stand straight
