CORPORATE READY ENTERPRISE
Coppre was nominated to the top 100 Corporate-Ready Social Enterprises list worldwide, drawn up in the report - Corporate-Ready: How Corporations and Social Enterprises Do Business Together to Drive Impact, led by Acumen and supported by IKEA Social Entrepreneurship, and developed in collaboration with members of the World Economic Forum’s COVID Response Alliance for Social Entrepreneurs.
SAVE THE CRAFT AWARD
Coppre was bestowed an Award by AIACA (All India Artisans and Craftworkers Welfare Association), for for 'Save the Craft ' category of the Shilp Udyam Samman Initiative.
NEST ACCELERATOR NOMINEE
Coppre was selected for the Nest Accelerator program for 2019. We were one among the 10 enterprises working with artisans that were chosen from 9 countries around the world.
USE OF DESIGN FOR SOCIAL IMPACT
IDC School of Design at IIT Mumbai conferred the ‘Distinguished Alumnus Award for Use of Design for Social Impact’ at the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the School in 2020, for successfully impacting the livelihoods of Copper Artisans
TATA SOCIAL ENTERPRISE FINALISTS
Coppre was one among the four finalists out of a 100 selected Social Enterprises at the TATA Social Enterprise Challenge (TSEC) 2016, a National Level challenge to find India’s most promising Social Enterprises. TSEC is a joint initiative by the TATA group and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta).
HARVARD COHORT
Coppre was selected in order to be featured among 50 craft enterprises in the paper 'Livelihoods Creation in India through Social Entrepreneurship and Skill Development', published by Harvard University South Asia Institute and Tata Trusts
WORLD CRAFTS COUNCIL AWARD
We received the World Crafts Council Award in 2016 for our product the ‘Bedside Carafe’.
